TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Reservation: To secure the vehicle for their desired date, the Lessee must pay a non- refundable reservation fee of at least P500.00, which will be credited toward the total rental cost. 2. Government ID Requirement: A valid government-issued ID (e.g., UMID, Passport, National ID) must be provided to the lessor. 3. Deposit Requirement: A ₱1,000 deposit must be paid, which will be refunded at the end of the rental period. 4. Use of Vehicle: The vehicle shall be used only for lawful purposes and shall not be operated by any person other than the Lessee or additional authorized drivers listed in this Agreement. 5. Maintenance and Repairs: The Lessee is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition and for any damage or loss that occurs during the rental period. Any necessary repairs must be reported to and authorized by the Lessor. 6. Engine Tampering Clause: Tampering with any of the car’s systems, especially the engine, is strictly prohibited. Any such action will result in a penalty of no less than P5,000.00, in addition to any costs associated with repairing the damage and potential legal actions. 7. Boundary: The vehicle is allowed for use only within Cebu Province and must not be transported via barge or ferry. Any violation of these conditions will result in a penalty of P10,000.00, along with the cost of the return ticket. 8. Prohibit Uses: The vehicle shall NOT BE USED for PRACTICE DRIVING, racing, towing, oƯ-road driving, or any other activity that may cause excessive wear or damage to the vehicle. a. Furthermore, selling or USING THE VEHICLE AS COLLATERAL FOR A LOAN will lead to criminal charges against the Lessee and a penalty of no less than P50,000 for damages caused. 9. Extension of Rental Duration: Extension of the rental duration is subject to the Lessor’s approval, as the car may already be booked for another client. a. If an extension is granted, payment for the additional rental period must be made immediately. 10.Return of Vehicle: The vehicle must be returned on or before the end date and time specified in this Agreement. Late returns will incur an additional charge of P150.00 per hour. a. If the Lessee is over 4 hours late in returning the vehicle, they will be charged the full daily rental rate. 11. Fuel Policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it had at the start of the rental. If not, a refueling fee of P300.00 per gauge line will be charged. 12.No Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided for the extra gas paid by the Lessee. Same applies if the car is returned earlier than the contract specifies. 13.Accidents and Damage: The Lessee must report any accidents or damage to the vehicle to the Lessor immediately. The Lessee is responsible for all costs associated with repairing any damage that occurs during the rental period. 14. TraƯic Citations: The lessee is responsible for any traƯic citations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period. All such charges must be settled by the Lessee directly. The Lessor will not be held liable for any traƯic violations or related costs. a. In the event that the vehicle is impounded, the Lessee must continue to pay the rental fees until the vehicle is returned. 15.Indemnity: The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold the Lessor harmless from any and all claims, losses, or damages arising out of the Lessee’s use of the vehicle. 16. Termination: The Lessor reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time if the Lessee breaches any terms or conditions, with no refund of the paid rent or deposit. 17. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republic of the Philippines.
