TERMS AND CONDITIONS This Car Rental Agreement with all its Terms and Conditions is hereby effective starting from Rental Start Date and Time until Rental End Date and Time as stated above. SCOPE OF USE: The rented vehicle shall be used: ● for usual car renting purposes of travel – either personal or business use ● within the DECLARED DESTINATION ONLY for rental price concerns; if renter deviates from the said DECLARED DESTINATION, corresponding additional charges shall be applied ● within the agreed rental duration only; delay of vehicle return or any excess of use shall entail a minimal fee of 200/hour ● only in properly maintained streets/roads and not off road ● diligently and should not be OVERLOADED; maximum passenger and baggage load/capacity shall be strictly observed for SAFETY PURPOSES ● primarily for passenger carriage only and should not be loaded with pointed or harmful objects which may cause damage to the vehicle both interior and exterior PAYMENT Payment for car rental shall be fully paid before turnover of vehicle by renter to owner. Owner may ask for an advance payment or deposit fee upon delivery/turnover of rented vehicle for security purposes or as deemed required by owner. The Car Operator may ask for a Gasoline deposit fee based on the remaining fuel gauge of the vehicle. (Php 250 per Bar) RENTAL RECOVERY CHARGE In the event of car damage/s, corresponding expenses for necessary car repair or car impounding shall be shouldered by the renter. A minimum daily recovery charge of P1,500.00 shall also be paid by the renter for every day that the vehicle has been under repair and/or impounding until completion of repair or release of vehicle. The same minimum daily recovery charge shall also be applied for any other similar situation/event which would cause the unavailability of the vehicle for use/rental due to the renter’s fault. INDEMNIFICATION It is understood that the renter agrees to indemnify, defend and not hold the owner of any accountability for any loss, damage or the like as a result of the renter’s action/use of vehicle during the whole duration of use as indicated in this Agreement. EFFECTIVITY All terms and conditions as stated in this Car Rental Agreement shall be binding between both parties (renter and owner) upon signing of this Agreement/Contract. This will also serve as an official contract that is not subject to modifications unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
