Loss of Use Compensation Loss of Use Compensation If the rented vehicle is involved in an accident or sustains damage that renders it unusable or unavailable for rental, the renter shall be liable for Loss of Use Compensation. This shall be charged at the vehicle’s applicable daily rental rate for each day the unit remains out of service until it is fully repaired and available for rental again.
