4. CAR CONDITION The Renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as when it was rented, except for normal wear and tear. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of gas. 5. DRIVER’S LICENSE The Renter affirms that they possess a valid driver’s license to operate the vehicle and that their license is not subject to suspensions, restrictions, or legal issues. 6. USE OF CAR The Renter agrees to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes, including personal or business use. The vehicle shall not be used for: Any illegal activities. Racing or reckless driving. Transporting hazardous materials. 7. INSURANCE COVERAGE The following insurance coverage applies during the rental period: A. Third-Party Liability Insurance (TPI) – Included ✔ Covers damages or injuries caused to a third party in an accident. ✔ Does not cover damage to the rented vehicle. B. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) – Optional ✔ Limits the renter’s liability for damage to the rented vehicle. ✔ A deductible of ₱[Amount] applies for any damage. C. Comprehensive Insurance – Optional ✔ Covers theft, fire, natural disasters, and vandalism. ✔ A deductible of ₱[Amount] applies. If the Renter declines optional insurance, they agree to be fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle. 8. RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY The Renter is responsible for all damage, accidents, or cleaning fees during the rental period. The Renter agrees to cover any repair costs that are not covered by insurance. In case of an accident, the Renter must immediately notify the Owner and obtain a police report. 9. VEHICLE INSPECTION The Renter acknowledges that they have inspected the vehicle before renting and confirm that it is in good condition with no pre-existing damage, except for minor documented imperfections. 10. OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY The Owner guarantees that the vehicle is: In good working condition. Free from any legal claims, liens, or encumbrances.
