1. The Essentials (Must-Haves) • Driver’s License: Original and valid. • Secondary ID: Passport, National ID, or SSS/UMID. • Security Deposit: Cash (₱2,000) to be returned if the car is fine. 2. Verification (To avoid scams) • Proof of Billing: A recent Meralco or water bill to prove where they live. • Proof of Income: A Company ID or Payslip. • Social Media: Check their Facebook profile to make sure they are a real person.

Note: Foreign driving licenses are valid in most countries including the Philippines for the next 90 days after arrival. After 90 days foreign driving license is required to be converted to the local standard. Remember that if you are planning a long trip!
