📄 Terms and Conditions – Motorcycle Rentals by SJA Travel & Tours This summary highlights the key policies for renting motorcycles via Book2Wheel, with vehicles owned by SJA Travel & Tours or its affiliates. ⸻ ✅ Rental Requirements • Must be 25 years old and above. • Provide a valid Driver’s License (PH or International), Passport, and a billing statement with a matching address. • Must comply with all Philippine traffic laws. ⸻ 💳 Payment Terms • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, and Credit Card. • Credit card payments will include a processing fee. • All rates are VAT exclusive. ⸻ 🚫 Strict Cancellation Policy • No cancellations, refunds, or transfers are allowed once booked. ⸻ ⏱ Rental Duration & Overtime • Rentals are for 24 hours from the start time. • Exceeding 3 hours = charged as one full day. • Overtime rate: Php 400/hour. • Long-term rentals may receive a similar replacement unit if needed (e.g., for maintenance). ⸻ 🧾 Vehicle Return Policy • Renter is responsible for: • Returning the vehicle on time and in good condition • Paying for fuel, parking, tolls, etc. • Cleaning the unit before return ⸻ ⚠️ Restrictions on Vehicle Use Do not use the motorcycle: • If you’re under 25 • For commercial or illegal purposes • While under the influence of drugs or alcohol • In races, off-road areas, or mountain trails • If you’re not the registered renter/driver • For towing or transporting large items ⸻ 💥 Collision & Damage Liability • RENTER is liable for at least Php 20,000 per incident (if uninsured). • Must pay repair estimates and loss of income if the bike is under repair. • Non-compliance or missing documents = full liability, even with insurance. ⸻ 📍 Out-of-Luzon Travel • Written permission is required before traveling outside Luzon. • Failure to inform the agency will make you liable for all engine/repair costs. ⸻ 🛠 Breakdowns & Mechanical Issues • RENTER cannot authorize repairs without agency approval. • Flat tires and damages caused by neglect are the renter’s full responsibility. • The agency is not liable for delays due to breakdowns. ⸻ 🔁 Extension Policy • Inform the agency before the rental ends if you want to extend. • Uninformed extensions = breach of contract. ⸻ ⚖️ Legal & Jurisdiction • All legal matters will be handled in Pasay City. • Late payments incur 24% annual interest. • Legal action may result in attorney’s fees (minimum Php 25,000). ⸻ 🆓 Liability Release • The agency only acts as a booking platform. • Insurance coverage depends on the owner. • Renter is responsible for all fines, penalties, and accidents. ⸻ 📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS • Please inspect the vehicle thoroughly. • You are fully responsible for the motorcycle from the moment it is turned over until returned. • Do not ignore your obligations—violations can lead to penalties.
