Comprehensive Insurance Coverage Our Montero Sport SUV is protected by Comprehensive Car Insurance, which offers wide coverage for both the vehicle and third-party liabilities. Below are the main areas covered: 1. Own Damage (OD) Covers accidental damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision, overturning, or other external means. Includes repair or replacement of damaged parts subject to insurance participation fee (deductible). 2. Theft / Carnapping (TC) Covers total loss or theft of the insured vehicle. The renter must immediately report the incident to Lex AutoRent and the police within 24 hours. 3. Acts of Nature (AON) Covers damage due to natural disasters such as: Typhoon Flood Earthquake Volcanic eruption Lightning 4. Third-Party Liability (TPL) Covers bodily injury or death and property damage caused to other people or vehicles. Excludes the renter and authorized driver’s personal injuries. 5. Personal Accident Insurance (if included) Provides limited medical or death benefits to the authorized driver and passengers in case of an accident while using the rented vehicle. ⚠️ Exclusions (Not Covered): Damage caused by negligence, drunk driving, or unauthorized drivers. Unreported accidents or failure to secure a police report. Use of the vehicle for racing, towing, or illegal activities. Loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle. Wear and tear, tire punctures, and cosmetic scratches not caused by accidents. Insurance Participation Fee (Deductible) In case of an approved claim, the renter is responsible for the insurance participation fee (usually ₱5,000–₱10,000 depending on the damage). This amount will be deducted from the renter’s security deposit or charged separately.
