Foreign driving licenses are valid in the Philippines for up to 90 days after arrival. Beyond 90 days, you must convert your foreign license to a local one. Plan accordingly if your stay is longer than three months. It is recommended to carry an International Driving Permit (IDP).

Insurance details:
TPL covers third-party bodily injury/death only.
It does not cover vehicle damage.
Vehicle damage is separate.
The renter is responsible for any damage to the rented unit unless covered by additional insurance (like Comprehensive Insurance with participation fee).
Participation Fee / Deductible applies.
In case of accident, renter must pay the agreed participation fee before insurance processing.
Police Report is Required.
Any accident must be reported immediately and a police report must be secured.
Unauthorized Drivers Not Covered.
Only the authorized driver in the contract is allowed to drive.
Violation of Law Voids Coverage.
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or reckless driving cancels insurance coverage.
