Driver license requirements

Foreign driving licenses are valid in the Philippines for up to 90 days after arrival. Beyond 90 days, you must convert your foreign license to a local one. Plan accordingly if your stay is longer than three months. It is recommended to carry an International Driving Permit (IDP).

🛡️ Insurance Conditions: • The unit is covered with Comprehensive Car Insurance, including Collision, Theft, and Acts of Nature (if applicable). • Insurance deductible/participation fee will be charged to the renter in case of any accident or damage. • For accidents caused by driver negligence (overspeeding, drunk driving, hitting fixed objects, illegal parking, etc.), the renter will shoulder full repair cost if not covered by insurance. • In case of an accident involving another party, the renter must: – Secure police report – Take photos/videos of the scene – Provide driver’s license and relevant details • Failure to provide proper documentation may result in the renter covering full repair cost. • If the unit becomes unavailable due to repair, the renter will shoulder the loss of rental income equal to the daily rate for the number of days the unit stays in the auto shop. • Insurance does not cover personal belongings left inside the car.
