1. Coverage * Rental vehicles are covered with Comprehensive Insurance, which includes third-party liability for injury or property damage. * Coverage applies only to accidents and damages within Siquijor Island during the rental period. 2. Exclusions * Insurance does not cover damages caused by: * Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs * Reckless or negligent driving (overspeeding, off-road driving, overloading) * Unauthorized drivers (not listed in the rental agreement) * Loss or damage to personal belongings inside the vehicle * Acts of nature (typhoon, flood, earthquake) unless specified in the policy 3. Authorized Driver * Only the renter or drivers listed in the rental agreement are covered. * Driver must have a valid driver’s license and meet the minimum age requirement of 19 years old. 4. Deductible/Participation Fee * In the event of damage, the renter is responsible for a participation fee of ₱5,000 – ₱10,000 depending on the vehicle type, payable before insurance coverage applies. 5. Reporting Requirement * Any accident, theft, or damage must be reported to Yelcalibre Car Rentals immediately and to the nearest police station within 24 hours. * Failure to report may result in loss of insurance coverage and full liability of the renter. 6. Proper Use of Vehicle * The vehicle must only be used for personal or business transport within Siquijor. * Subleasing, racing, or illegal activities will automatically void the insurance and the renter will be liable for all damages.
