Insurance Conditions Coverage Source Insurance coverage for the vehicle shall be provided through one or more of the following, as disclosed before the rental: The rental platform’s insurance policy The Owner’s insurance policy The Renter’s personal or business auto insurance Where booked through a peer-to-peer platform, the platform’s insurance terms shall apply. Scope of Coverage Insurance shall cover accidental damage, theft, and third-party liability during the rental period, subject to the applicable policy terms, limits, and exclusions. Renter Liability Limit The Renter’s financial responsibility is limited to: Damage directly caused by the Renter, and The applicable deductible or coverage gap under the active policy The Renter is not responsible for uninsured losses beyond the stated deductible unless caused by intentional misuse or fraud. Excluded Responsibility The Renter is not liable for: Normal wear and tear Pre-existing or undocumented damage Mechanical or electrical failure not caused by misuse Loss of use, depreciation, or administrative charges unless expressly covered by insurance Accidents & Claims In the event of an accident, damage, or theft, the Renter must: Notify the Owner and/or platform promptly Cooperate with insurance and claims processes Provide accurate information without admitting fault No repairs or settlements may be authorized by the Renter without approval unless required for safety. Insurance Validity Insurance coverage may be void if the vehicle is used: For illegal activities By an unauthorized or unlicensed driver Outside permitted geographic areas In violation of material lease terms Priority of Terms If this Agreement conflicts with platform or insurance policy terms, the insurance policy and platform terms shall prevail.
