Insurance details:

Car insurance terms & conditions outline your coverage (what's paid for), exclusions (what's not covered, like drunk driving or wear & tear), limits (maximum payout), conditions (rules for claims, like providing correct info), and procedures (how to file a claim), forming a contract with the insurer detailing responsibilities for premiums, deductibles, and liability for third parties or own damage. Key Components of Terms & Conditions <>Coverage«>: What the insurer pays for, including third-party liability (bodily injury/property damage to others) and own damage (your vehicle), often with optional add-ons for floods, etc.. <>Exclusions«>: Situations where you aren't covered, such as: Drunk/drug-influenced driving. Wear & tear, mechanical/electrical breakdown. Damage to tires unless part of a larger accident (often limited to 50% replacement). <>Limits of Liability«>: The maximum amount the insurer will pay for a specific loss or overall. <>Deductibles & Excess«>: The amount you pay out-of-pocket before insurance kicks in. <>Conditions & Warranties«>: Requirements like: Providing accurate information. Not driving under the influence. Reporting accidents promptly. <>Claim Procedure«>: Steps to follow when making a claim, including written notice and supporting documents. <>Definitions«>: Specific meanings for terms like "Insured," "Insurer," "Claim," etc.. Important Things to Note Policy Wording is Key: The official policy document has the final say, not general descriptions. Geographic Limits: Coverage often applies only within the Philippines (or specified region). Third-Party«/nav>> Coverage: Covers injuries/damage to others, but may have conditions for passengers (e.g., not for hire). <>Vehicle Assistance«/nav>>: May include towing, jumpstarts, locksmith services with specific limits.
